We source our coffee beans ethically and sustainably, partnering with small, authentic farms and estates. We know where every bean comes from, and we ensure that each farmer and worker is paid a dignified, fair trade wage. Our beans come from all over the world, from Indonesia to Africa to Central America, and we offer dozens of varieties from each region. Once you find your favorite region, you’ll even start noticing how beans taste differently based on the country and climate.
Our roasterie is located in the neighborhood of Lockland in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we roast all of our beans there. We operate a small coffee shop at the front of the roasterie and offer free wifi for our customers. We also offer roasterie tours, coffee classes, and private event rentals.
We roast each of our coffees differently. Our Master Roaster, who hails from Uganda, has won multiple barista championships around the world. He evaluates each coffee bean and develops a custom roasting recipe for it. Some beans are roasted for longer than others, while others are roasted at lower temperatures. This guarantees each coffee has the optimum flavor, perfect for that harvest and climate.
Coffee tastes best when consumed within 7-10 days from roasting, so we ship and deliver quickly. Your beans are at your door — and in your cup — within 48 hours of roasting. Whether our delivery man hand-delivers them, you pick them up at our roasterie, or we ship them across the country, your beans are guaranteed to be fresh. You’ll certainly taste the difference.
